Pansophy’s comprehensive Mathematics program uses Canadian, U.S., Singaporean, and other international sources to help students achieve success in academic, competition, or other enrichment settings. Our system divides students by Canadian curricular requirements as a starting point, with substantial reinforcement and extension built from several other texts (e.g., Math Makes Sense, Spectrum, Singapore Math/Singapore Math Challenge) used intermittently and ordered by successive levels of difficulty. Co-extensively with recent changes to the B.C. curriculum, a substantial emphasis is placed on word problems, arithmetic-as-applied, and open-ended narrative problems; ESL learners frequently use our advanced math classes as additional English oral/spoken training. We frequently train our students for success in the University of Waterloo’s suite of competitions, AME/AIME, and other contests. Our extensive library is freely available for students to access, and students are free to borrow exercise books in circulation to sharpen their skills outside of assigned materials.

Pansophy’s Mathematics staff includes university professors, Ivy League graduates, professional full-time math teachers, computer programmers, and STEM researchers. Our team’s combined decades of experience and comprehensive varieties of teaching style means that at least one member, if not several members, of our staff has the right aptitude, expertise, and personality to serve your or your child’s needs.
