Pansophy’s French program assists students who are beginning their acquaintance with the language; increasing their facility; and extending their mastery in preparation for using the language abroad, in post-secondary studies, or as part of their lifelong communications skills. Like is the case for our English program, many Pansophy French instructors are able to explain French concepts in Mandarin or Cantonese. In addition, Pansophy’s library includes Spanish and German materials for students’ consultation.
Pansophy’s Science program (for elementary students) and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology programs (for secondary students) equip students for success in their respective educational stages. Pansophy teachers in these subjects are STEM college graduates, scientists, researchers, and/or part-time and full-time teachers in these disciplines. Preview, concurrent study, and review classes, mostly offered one-to-one or in small-group settings assisting similarly situated students, are available.
Pansophy’s Social Studies program builds students’ knowledge of Canadian civics. Some Pansophy English classes draw from U.S. civics materials. Pansophy staff is available to assist students with B.C. First Peoples 10 and 12, English First Peoples 10 and 12, and related courses requiring advanced understanding of Canadian history.
