Ka Sin (Katsy) Wu is a Teaching Associate in Mathematics who joined Pansophy Education in 2024. Katsy joins Pansophy as an experienced classroom educator with more than eight years of large-group (at least 35 students) instructional experience.
Between 2019 and 2024, Katsy was a mathematics teacher, Deputy Head of Mathematics, and Deputy Head of Examination and Assessment at Stewards Pooi Kei College in Hong Kong. While at Stewards, Katsy developed a comprehensive mathematics curriculum covering Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, and Calculus; led the Junior Mathematics Team; led a mathematics-related school trip to Australia; and supported graduating seniors in post-secondary life and career planning. Prior to Stewarts, Kat taught at S.K.H. Bishop Mok Sau Tseng and S.K.H. Li Ping secondary schools, both in Hong Kong.
After receiving a B.Sc. in Mathematics with Second Class Honors from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Katsy earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Education with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Integrated Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. While at HKUST, Katsy studied abroad at the University of Bergen (Norway). Katsy holds qualified teacher status from England’s Department of Education; a Level 2 Google Certified Educator certificate; an In-Service Professiaonl Development Certificate from INSTEP, Faculty of Education, University of Hong Kong; and a Diverse Learning Needs Certificate from Hong Baptist University. In addition to English, Katsy is highly proficient in both Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
