Pansophy’s signature Mandarin Chinese program offers flexible, dedicated, and affordable teaching, in one-to-one, small group, and large group formats, to K-12 and adult learners across the Lower Mainland in both virtual and in-person formats. Although Pansophy teaches primarily from Renjiaoban, China’s authoritative Yuwen (Language Arts) curriculum, Pansophy also follows Singapore and other overseas textbooks and can teach from new sources on-demand. Pansophy students, whether studying in groups or working individually with our teachers, have consistently earned the perfect score of 5 on AP Chinese Language & Literature exams. Pansophy has earned school awards, and Pansophy’s students have won individual awards, annually at the Vancouver Chinese Library’s essay-writing and storytelling competitions. Finally, Pansophy offers one-on-one instruction for special situations, including interview prep, PKU/THU/conservatory/art school application prep and advising, and adult learning.

Pansophy’s Mandarin Chinese teachers have decades of experience assisting both seasoned Mandarin Chinese learners and first-time students coming to the language. Many of Pansophy’s Mandarin teachers are award-winning educators in the public-school systems of Mandarin-speaking jurisdictions; successful instructors whose students have won local and national awards, whether as part of Pansophy or elsewhere; and seasoned teachers whose collective experience span several countries and many decades.
