Margaret Lin is a Teaching Associate who joined Pansophy Education in 2024. Margaret is a bilingual professional (fully proficient in English and French) who, prior to joining Pansophy, worked in health research, statistical analysis, advocacy, and marketing. Margaret expertly guides students in Biology up to third-year college (including gross anatomy, gross physiology, cell biology, cell physiology, ecology, evolution, microbiology, and introduction to pharmacology); beginner to advanced high school Chemistry; beginner to advanced high school English; beginner to advanced high school French; beginner to middle school Mathematics; and high school Social Studies. Students and parents value Margaret’s insightful feedback, rigorous teaching style, and focus on individual student needs.
In addition to her work at Pansophy, Margaret is a research scientist whose work on public health, epidemiology, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and cholesterol issues (among others) have appeared in PLoS ONE, Journal of Lipid Research, Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology, and World Scientific Series in Global Health Economics and Public Policy. She has worked on knee osteoarthritis research that was presented at the ISPOR conference in Orlando, Florida. In addition to her professional involvements, Margaret has volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society and Beaty Biodiversity Museum.
Margaret received her B.Sc. in Biology and M.P.H. from the University of British Columbia.
